Okay, so I had to uninstall the game today due to a messup with the AV, it wouldn't properly update. (Why does this game have some many false positives?) So I backed up my present files, and uninstalled the game. However, when attempting to install the game, Steam says 'Not enough disk space' and this is certainly not true. I've got over 450 GB free space. Facebook icon for email signature mac mail.
And no, Steam hasn't gone crazy either, it can download other games larger than War Thunder without saying no space. I really need some help here. In adition: You may restart steam and/or run it as administrator, also worth to be aware the installation is being stored on the correct hardrive (if more are installed) and on the correct partition (if the hardrive has partitions and/or limited on size). I've even restarted the computer, and the backup is stored in an external HDD which is not even plugged in while trying to do the clean re-install.
Unfortunately, it still insists there's not enough space. It can perfectly start installing, say Max Payne 3, which is 33 GB though. Then it's still related to BitDefender blocking something (even though it's disabled) i assume - this has in fact been reported by other users as well (though i still cannot really believe it ^^) you should add the War Thunder folder to the exception list in BitDefender, then restart the PC and try again. The only other suggestion that obviously has worked for people with this problem was to completely uninstall BitDefender (and personally i absolutely hate doing this because that's not the way it should be =/). You probably already tried but i still want to highligh this, is regarding the path location where the game is installed, so have you already tried another location? Yes, tried drive C.
Note that if you unplug your hard drive while a game is open (or if Steam isn't recognising the library for whatever reason) just go to Preferences, Downloads, Steam Library Folders, click Add New Library and select the folder on the hard drive. Steam Cleaner can come in handy if you are in desperate need to free up some disk space. The more games you have installed, the larger the gain in disk space after running the program. You can clean the folders manually as well obviously if you prefer not to run an application to do so.
It first started installing. However, C is not my main drive and is pretty small, I don't want to install any games there so I cancelled and removed it. Interesting thing is, now if I try to install it on C even if temporarily (premium active:c) it says no space again. I dunno, have been using steam for years and for the first time I see something like this. EDIT: Changing the name of the installation path solves this. If I make the path the same as the one I uninstalled (C:/SteamLibrary) it says disk full. If I make the path a new one, (C:/SteamLib) it starts installing.
Update: On 18th, October 2017. Let me explain why. The enhanced typesettings engine requires the books be downloaded as.kfx extension name. This format of Kindle book is impossible to convert or decrypt (remove DRM). The software called makes it possible to remove DRM from KFX books. Kindle app for mac.
